Considering your departing city, the airline that you are flying, and whether or not you are renting a car, you have a few options.
TRAVELING TO PHILADELPHIA BY AIR
The Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel is approximately 7 miles northeast of Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) You can access airport information at http://www.phl.org.
Although The Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel does not provide complimentary transportation from the airport, there are many affordable transportation options from the airport to the conference hotel.

About: For shuttle service from PHL, go to the baggage claim area and use the phone on top of the ground transportation desk. Dial #27 on the phone.
Train (SEPTA): http://www.septa.org
Train service from the airport to 30th Street Station or the University City station is available through SEPTA's Airport Line which leaves every half-hour. The fare is $7.00 (subject to change), and the trip takes approximately twenty-five minutes. The 30th Street Station is about a 10 minute walk (6 blocks west and one block south) to the conference hotel or you can take a taxi.

The Market-Frankford Line (the Blue Line) stops at 34th Street, and all trolley trains (the Green Lines) stop at 33rd Street. From either of these, it is one block south to Chestnut and 2 or 3 blocks west to 36th Street.

North
Take Interstate 95 South to Interstate 676 West. Follow to Interstate 76 East and take the 30th Street Station Exit #345. Follow the ramp around 30th Street Station to Market Street. Turn right on Market Street and then turn left on 36th Street. Sheraton Philadelphia University City is on the left at 36th and Chestnut Streets.
West
Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 24. Take I-76 East to the 30th Street Station Exit #345. Follow the ramp around the 30th Street Station to Market Street. Turn right on Market Street and then turn left on 36th Street. Sheraton Philadelphia University City is on the left at 36th and Chestnut Streets.
East
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 4. Take State Route 73 North to Interstate 295 South. Take the Walt Whitman Bridge to I-76 West and then take the 30th Street Station Exit #345. Turn left at the second light onto Market Street and then turn left onto 36th Street. Sheraton Philadelphia University City is on the left at 36th and Chestnut Streets.
South (and Philadelphia International Airport)
Take I-95 North to I-76 West. Take the 30th Street Station Exit #345. Turn left at the second light onto Market Street. Turn left on 36th Street. Sheraton Philadelphia University City is on the left at 36th and Chestnut Streets.
TRAVELING TO PHILADELPHIA BY TRAIN (AMTRAK) http://www.amtrak.com
Amtrak trains stop at 30th Street Station (30th and Market Streets). The 30th Street Station is about a 10 minute walk (6 blocks west and one block south) to the conference hotel or you can take a taxi.

GETTING AROUND UNIVERSITY CITY
LUCY - "Loop through University City" A SEPTA-operated bus making multiple stops around UPenn’s campus and serving 30th Street Station, Monday-Friday from 6:10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
